FREE CHECK · SEO & META

The SEO basics, on the rendered page.

Paste a public page. It reads the title, description, canonical, heading structure, robots directives and social share tags as a browser sees them, not as the template intended.

All six checks
RUN IT ON YOUR SITEFREE · NO ACCOUNT

Six read-only checks on one page: accessibility, performance, SEO, console and network errors, broken links, cookie handling. About a minute. Nothing is submitted, signed into, or changed.

WHAT IT LOOKS AT

The questions it asks of the page.

01Title and meta description: present, one of each, sensible length
02Exactly one h1, and a heading order that does not skip levels
03A canonical URL that points at the page itself
04Robots directives in the meta tag and the response headers
05Open Graph and Twitter card tags, including whether the declared image exists and is large enough
06Whether the page is a client-rendered shell with no content in the served HTML
WHAT IT FINDS MOST OFTEN

From real public pages. No company named.

FOUND
TWITTER:CARD SAYS SUMMARY_LARGE_IMAGE BUT THERE IS NO IMAGE

Every link pasted into Slack, LinkedIn or WhatsApp rendered as a bare URL with no title or picture. Add an og:image at 1200 by 630 and a twitter:image, or drop the large-image claim.

FOUND
NO H1 ANYWHERE ON THE HOMEPAGE

Search engines got no primary heading for a product that lives on discovery. The heading was a styled div. Make the main headline an h1. It is a tag change, not a design change.

FOUND
FIVE H1 TAGS, FOUR OF THEM FRAGMENTS OF AN ANIMATED COUNTER

The stat animation rendered each frame as a heading, so the page's outline was "Save / hours / Per rep". Use one h1 for the headline and spans for the counter.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

The honest limit.

This is on-page hygiene for one URL. It does not measure rankings, backlinks or keyword difficulty, and it does not crawl. It tells you whether the page is telling search engines and social networks the truth about itself.

INQUIRIES

Questions about the seo basics check.

Is this a full SEO audit?
No. It is the on-page basics for one URL, checked on the rendered page: the things that are wrong on most sites and take minutes to fix. Rankings, backlinks and keyword research are a different job.
Why check the rendered page rather than the HTML?
Because a client-rendered site can serve a 780-byte shell with no title, no description and no headings, and only fill them in after JavaScript runs. Some crawlers wait for that; many do not. The check reports both what was served and what rendered.
Does it check the share image actually loads?
Yes. It fetches the declared og:image and reports it if the file is missing or too small to render as a card.
THE OTHER FIVE

Every run does all six.

01Accessibility
02Broken links
03Performance
04Console & network errors
05Cookies & consent

Code review checks the diff. ShipGuarde also checks the running product, so a release does not ship on the hope that nothing broke.
